It Hurts: Finding Your Way After a Long-Term Relationship Ends
A free, gentle workshop offering for women living in Canada
When a long-term relationship ends (or is in the process of ending) it can shake everything you thought you knew about yourself, your future, and your place in the world. (Even if the decision was yours, and it was “for the best.”)
This is for you if you’re:
- a woman currently navigating a separation, breakup or divorce, or feeling the ongoing impacts of a historical breakup
- longing for compassionate, judgement free connection with others who truly understand this kind of loss
- feeling a wide, overwhelming range of emotions, including loneliness, anger, and shame and wondering what’s “normal”
- feeling the weight of social and cultural expectations, intensifying the experience
- confused or shocked at the level of distress or destabilization you’re feeling
- needing reassurance that you’re not alone and that you’re going to be ok
This session is designed to offer a safe space where you can feel more held and less alone, pause and check in with yourself, cultivate more self-compassion, and expand understanding and acceptance as to why it hurts so much.
Wednesday, March 4, 2026
12:00pm – 1:00pm pst
Virtual via Zoom
Space is limited.
Group expectations and guidelines will be shared before we meet so you can feel as safe and supported as possible.
I’m offering this workshop as an act of care in a time when many women are navigating personal heartbreak in a wider world that can feel heavy and unjust. Creating spaces of support and connection feel like one small way I can use my own agency to contribute something positive.
There’s no expectation attached – you’re welcome to simply come and receive support. If you join, you’re invited to “pay it forward” in your own way through a small act of kindness or care in your community.
I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor who specializes in supporting adults through relational transitions, pain, and trauma. My work is somatic, relational, attachment and emotion-focused, and grounded in a feminist, anti‑violence lens. This workshop is not therapy – it’s community care and psychoeducation.
