Fees, Coverage & Cancellations Explained
Rates $150 per 50-minute counselling session. 75 minute sessions are $220 and 60-minute walking sessions are $175. Payment is due at the end of session. Cash, E-Transfer and Credit Cards accepted.
Coverage & Receipts As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, my services are covered by many extended health benefit plans.
For some plans, you pay up front and I provide a receipt after each session that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. For other plans, including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life and Canada Life, I offer direct billing, which means I bill your insurer directly reducing your up front costs and simplifying the process. We can discuss this further in a consultation call.
I am also an approved health care provider under ICBC’s Recovery Network .
Please check with your plan administrator to confirm your benefits eligibility and coverage.
Counselling services provided by licensed practitioners such as Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC) in British Columbia became exempt from GST/PST as of June 2024. This means no tax is added to your session fee.
Sliding Scale Availability
A limited number of sliding scale spots are offered for those experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire to explore current availability.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice at no cost.
Appointments are reserved just for you. Late cancellations or missed appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the full session fee.
